Late summer colour

A few days ago as I was driving around I noticed the trees are already colouring up.
Summer seems to be over, if indeed we ever had one this year. But like the trees maybe we should celebrate this change of season with a little late summer colour.

 

A short colourful skirt paired with leggings and a matching scarf will do it.

 

Or add a colourful purse or bag to the mix.

 

A longer skirt, and some chunky jewellery with or without the leggings.

 

Or take a favorite summer dress and add an infinity scarf worn here as a bolero to keep the cooler temperatures at bay.

 

A colourful cardigan jacket on a plain summer dress is also a great way to add a shot of colour.

 

A shawl over a summer dress helps keep you warm and is a good opportunity to add a little colour to this change of seasons.

Summer maybe over, but lets follow the example nature is showing us and celebrate the change of season with a last blast of colour.
